A blend of French and Italian flavours, this bite consists of a flaky mini croissant which is a generous helping of ground Italian sausage and topped with a slice of fontina cheese which is then finished off in the oven to allow the filling to melt together. The result is a hearty and warming canape packed full of flavour with an airy and light pastry exterior.
