Elia Caterers is looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to take a leading role in driving the continued growth of one of Malta’s most established names in catering.
Since 1953, Elia Caterers has grown from humble beginnings into a recognised name in Malta, delivering weddings, corporate events, private celebrations and tailored catering solutions. As Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of that growth. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, lead the sales team and convert enquiries and opportunities into profitable, long-term business. You will be expected to understand what clients are looking for, develop compelling proposals, negotiate confidently and work closely with our teams to turn ideas into successfully delivered events and catering solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally within catering, weddings or events
- A proven ability to generate new business and develop strong client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- A strong commercial and results-focused mindset
- Experience preparing commercial proposals and sales reports
- The confidence to lead, motivate and support a sales team
- Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and event management software
- Fluency in Maltese and English
- A valid driving licence
- A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field
